A native of Texas, Valley Sod Farms owner Dan Gibson grew up on a cotton farm and has been involved in agriculture his entire live. His career in the turfgrass industry began in 1990 providing specialty nutrition products to city parks, golf courses and sod farms. 

He acquired Valley Sod Farms in 2005 and has continued to increase product quality and customer service, His joy in providing living green space in Los Angeles fuels his passion for this business. He is married with three children, all of whom have played a part in the continuing success of Valley Sod Farms.
